Fletcher, Vermont

Located in Franklin County, Fletcher was granted by the Vermont legislature in 1781 to a group that included General Samuel Fletcher, a veteran of the Battles of Ticonderoga, Hubbardton and Bennington.

Much of Fletcher is heavily mountainous, and includes the 2140-foot Fletcher Mountain.

Unincorporated villages and settlements: Binghamville, Fletcher village

Lodging:

The Fletcher Cottage - This newly remodeled cottage is on a scenic Vermont lake, surrounded by some of Vermont's most beautiful countryside and interesting communities. In the summer, it's a lovely spot for fishing, swimming, and canoeing.
