Londonderry, Vermont

Londonderry is located on the banks of the West River and at the intersection of routes 11 and 100. It is also a short distance from the Stratton and Bromley ski areas, a fact that has helped to dot its landscape with a number of fine lodging and restaurant options.

Londonderry originally contained the neighboring town of Windham, from which it was separated in 1795. It was named after the New Hampshire Londonderry, the origin of many of its earliest settlers.

The eastern border of Londonderry is the long ridge of Glebe Mountain, which peaks out at 2940 feet.

Blue Gentian Lodge - We are located at the base of the Magic Mountain Ski Area in Londonderry, VT. and we are open year round for your enjoyment. Our specialty is satisfying the needs of groups.

Dostals Magic Mountain - Nestled in the heart of the region's most spectacular mountains, Dostal's provides the quintessential retreat after a day of exploring the wonders of Vermont.

Frog's Leap Inn - In summer, bask in the sun by our heated pool, enjoy a quiet walk on sun-dappled trails, be at peace in your room or anywhere on our 32 acres of fields and forest.

Londonderry Inn - Originally built in 1826, The Londonderry Inn has been a big, comfortable family lodge since the early 1940's. We like it because of the sprawling common areas which include a large dining room (formerly the farm's woodshed), big stone fireplace sitting room, billiards room, movie room, ping pong room, sledding hill in winter, and spring-fed outdoor swimming pool.

Magic View Motel - A comfortable alpine chalet motel with a beautiful mountain view and a homey, hospitable atmosphere.

Swiss Inn - All rooms have private baths, cable color TV's, telephones and air-conditioning.

Swiss Inn - Featuring Fondues and other Swiss/German Entrees.

Three Clock Inn - The Three Clock Inn, a fixture of Vermont dining for over thirty years, is located on the first floor of an over 200-year-old farmhouse. Antiques and locally hand-blown glass give it a refined, but relaxed, country atmosphere. The unpretentious ambiance provides a backdrop for the American cuisine with French influence.
