Description: Join us for a great celebration of summer. The week kicks off with our traditional 4th of July Celebration and culminates on July 9th, a great Street Fair, Arts on Main, Chowderfest, BBQ, Street Dance and Fireworks. We are already hard at it planning our Antique Boat Parade, Sail Boat Regatta, Wine/Microbrewery Tasting, Volleyball, Logrolling, Bed Racing, Newport’s Got Talent and our world famous Pet and Swimmers Parade. Aquafest is held in conjunction with Kingdom Swim, which is now drawing hundreds of open water swimmers of all ages from all over the nation and all over the world.
