Home to the Mad River Glen Ski Area, Waitsfield is also the commercial center of the Mad River Valley. Mad River Canoe is located here, as is the Valley Players Theatre, and on Bridge Street (surprise, surprise) you'll find the 2nd oldest covered bridge in the state. Visitors in August can enjoy the Waitsfield/Warren-sponsored Festival of the Arts.
