Virtual Vermonter - Campgrounds - Lazy Lions Campground

Lazy Lions Campground

Description: "We have excellent water, sewer and 30 AMP electrical hookups. Bring your 40 foot RV to our spacious, trimmed, pull-thru sites (we have a very limited number, so be sure to reserve yours early!). We accommodate double slideouts as well.

Lazy Lions Campground also offers a rustic cabin for those of you who don't own (or aren't traveling in) an RV, but still look for comfort and convenience in camping accommodations. For those of you who like to "rough it," try our secluded tent sites or our unique Lean-To Shelter." There are 34 sites here in all.

Local attractions include the Camp Meade Victory Museum, the State Capitol, Rock of Ages and Thunder Road.

Open/Close Dates: May 15 to November 1

Cost: $15 - $28 (2005). They also have a cabin that sleeps four.

Directions: Exit 6 off I-89, straight ahead at signal on Middle Road, 5 miles from downtown Barre.
