1)Big Deer State Park - Looking for a Vermont hiking experience? Groton State Forest contains some 28,000 acres, and the Big Deer State Park is located in the middle of it. This park features 23 tent/trailer sites and 5 lean-to sites. Groton.

2)Breezy Meadows Campground - Breezy Meadows is located on 35 acres of grown-in pastures rolling along 4,000 feet of Moose River to the east and protected by 160 acres of wooded ridges to the north, south and west. In addition to the 51 campsites we currently have, there will be another 54 campsites when we complete construction. Additional perks include canoe and kayak rentals and more than three miles of hiking trails. Concord.

3)Brighton State Park - The campground sits on the mostly undeveloped Spectacle Pond where it is common to hear loons calling at night. There are 61 tent/trailer sites and 23 leantos. Island Pond.

4)Char-Bo Campground - Among the fun here, swim in their in-ground pool or in Salem Lake, enjoy their game room, playground or boat rentals, and they even feature their own 9-hole putt-putt golf course. 44 large, grassy sites in all. Derby.

5)Harvey's Lake Cabins & Campground - Our 10 fully furnished cabins are spacious, quaint, with a country style ambiance and are tastefully decorated in "antique funk", featuring stunning lake front views with Harvey's Mountain as a picture perfect background. Our 38 acres of campground offer a picturesque mix of lake front RV and river front tent sites. Campers will also find privacy and larger wooded sites offering families a sense of neighborhood and lasting friendships. Barnet.

6)Idle Hours Camping Area - Idle Hours Camping Area has 22 sites in all (9 WES, 13 WE) and is located within nine miles of the Cabot Cheese Factory. Hardwick.

7)Injun Joe Court - Injun Joe Court has 15 cabins and 7 RV sites. Among the perks here are swimming, fishing and boating (rowboats, paddleboats and canoes available for free for cabin guests). Danville.

8)Lakeside Camping - With 200 campsites, (both wooded and open, tent and pull through, full hookups and 30 amps) Lakeside Camping is a must for your next visit to the Kingdom. Surrounded by majestic Red and White Pine the campground is blessed with lakeshore views and over 1500 feet of sandy beach. Island Pond.

9)Maidstone State Park - The campground has 45 tent/trailer sites and 37 lean-tos. Three of the four rest rooms include hot showers ($). A sanitary dump station is available, but no hookups. There are a play area, hiking trails, and a swimming beach in both camp areas. A picnic shelter, swimming beach, and two additional rest rooms are also available at the day use area. Guildhall.

10)Mill Brook Campground - Mill Brook Campground offers 30 sites in all (18 WES, 12 WE) and features fishing, a playground, volleyball, horseshoes, badminton and more. Local attractions include Jay Peak and numerous lakes. Westfield.

11)Moose River Campground - Moose River Campground offers 50 sites in all, including 45 WES and 3 tent sites. They recently added wireless modem hookup, and feature Saturday night bonfires, as well as a variety of weekend activities, including pig roasts, chicken roasts and pumpkin carving contests. Note that this area caters to adults. St. Johnsbury.

12)Pleasant Valley Campground - Located on 100 acres, they feature 53 sites in all spread out on a hill overlooking the small lake (most wooded). In addition to a store and playground, they feature fishing, boating, swimming, volleyball and a number of planned activities. Ryegate.

13)Ricker Pond State Park - The campground has 32 tent/trailer sites, a rental cottage and 23 lean-tos. There is a swimming beach, boat launch, shelter, and access to miles of hiking trails. Groton.

14)Rustic Haven Campground - Our spacious, grassy sites - each with its own stone fireplace and picnic table - are situated among large softwood trees that will provide you with cool shade from the hot summer sun. Come and stroll along our 15 acre campground and take in the beautiful scenery. Concord.

15)Stillwater State Park - Stillwater State Park is located on Groton Lake in 28,000-acre Groton State Forest. This park has some excellent tent sites and lean-tos on the shores of the lake where you can boat right up to your campsite. Groton.

16)Sugar Ridge RV Village & Campground - Sugar Ridge R.V. Village & Campground is Vermont's newest family campground. Located in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom, Sugar Ridge features 68 acres of beautiful maples and pines ... spectacularly scenic throughout the camping season and simply breathtaking during the height of the annual fall foliage. Danville.

17)White Caps Campground - Located directly across the street from Lake Willoughby, we are but a stone's throw from hiking and biking trails that can take you on your own personal adventure. Westmore.

18)Will-O-Wood Campground - Will-O-Wood is a family campground located in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom overlooking Lake Willoughby. Lake Willoughby is called The L'Lucerne of America. This spring fed glacial lake is famous for its swimming, boating, and fishing. The Willoughby area offers abundant opportunities for Hiking, Hunting, Golf, Bicycling, Sightseeing, Antiquing, Country Auctions, Church Suppers, and just plain relaxin. Brownington.
