American Museum of Fly Fishing

The American Museum of Fly Fishing was founded in Manchester in 1968. It sports a sizable collection of angling memorabilia, including rods & reels, flies, tackle, art, photographs and more. Special exhibits include the tackle of famous Americans (ex. Daniel Webster, Dwight Eisenhower, Herbert Hoover, Andrew Carnegie, Samuel Morse, Ernest Hemingway and others) and collections of some of the best tiers and rod makers in the world. The Museum supports educational programs and traveling exhibits, as well as a quarterly publication, The American Fly Fisher.

The American Museum of Fly Fishing is located at the intersection of US 7A and Seminary Avenue and can be reached at 802-362-3300.
