Virtual Vermonter - Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center

Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center

With locations in Middlebury, Burlington and Manchester, the Frog Hollow Vermont State Craft Center has been "advancing appreciation of fine Vermont craft through education, sales and exhibition" since 1971. This private, nonprofit organization was actually started as an after-school pottery program for kids, and it continues to develop and deliver a number of programs slanted to special groups (private schools, home schooling groups, college groups, parent/child centers, etc.) and general classes geared towards children, teens and adults. They feature complete schedules online for each of the three centers, or you can register to receive a printed catalogue.

The Website features a number of select artists/artisans works for sale in many different mediums, as well as a gallery allowing you to just browse. Of course, the best way to really enjoy Frog Hollow is to visit one of their physical locations (addresses/contact information listed below). Between them, the three locations feature the works of over 230 juried Vermont artisans, and each gallery schedules a number of special exhibits that it puts on each year.

Frog Hollow has galleries in the following locations:

One Mill Street
