Virtual Vermonter - Southern Vermont Arts Center

Located in a National Historic Trust Mansion in Manchester, the Southern Vermont Arts Center offers a variety of opportunities for visitors. The 407 acres surrounding the Center feature hiking and botany trails, sculpture gardens and an indoor/outdoor cafe. The Center houses ten galleries filled with classical and contemporary art and the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum, the home of the Center's 800-piece permanent collection, special traveling exhibits and more. In addition to exhibits, the Center also offers a variety of art classes, which their Website contains information on (in addition to listing upcoming events, membership information and more).

The Southern Vermont Arts Center is open Tuesday through Saturday (10-5) and Sunday (12-5). The price of admission is $6 for adults, $3 for students and free for members and children under 13.
