Baked Eggs in Maple Toast Cups

1-1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
1-1/2 tablespoons melted butter
6 slices bread
6 eggs
3 slices crisp bacon, chopped

Add syrup to melted butter. Remove bread crusts, then flatten bread and brush slices with the syrup mixture. Push bread into greased muffin tins, sprinkle bacon in the bread "cups" and break an egg into each cup. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until the egg is set and serve with additional maple syrup.
